The following are premier racing events held at Pompano Park Races are conducted every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with first post at 7:25pm. Known as the 'Winter Capital of Harness Racing', Pompano Park has been home to world-class standardbred racing since 1964. The Pompano Park racetrack is a 5/8 mile harness track that features live racing year round. The Poker room is conveniently located near the Trackside Bar at the top of the escalators to the 2nd floor. Poker players can try their hand at Texas Hold 'em, Seven-Card Stud, Omaha High and other popular poker variations in the 34-table Poker room. Popular games include Wheel of Fortune, Double Double Bonus, Cash Man, Hot Hot Penny and Hot Hot Super Jackpot. The casino has 1,500 slots and video poker machines in denominations starting at 2 cents. It is only a 15-minute drive from the ocean, 20 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport and less than an hour from Miami Beach.
The facility is located one mile west of Interstate 95, one mile east of the Florida Turnpike and one block south of the corner of Atlantic Blvd and Powerline Road. The casino features 1,500 gaming machines and 34 poker tables. The Isle Casino and Racing at Pompano Park can accommodate up to 20,000 spectators, 12,000 cars and approximately 1,000 horses.
